Come on guys when you kiss Jillian quit covering up her earrings!  How can our customers see them?  

Rebecca Vivoni had a show Monday night and the Bachlorette was on.  She and Jillian both had on the Turquoise Sea Drop Earrings!  Love it!

The July issue of InStyle magazine has a fabulous article titled Best Summer Ever.  The Summer Bummer section was applicable to our Stella & Dot business I thought it was worth sharing.  What caught my eye was the caption – It’s hard to look pulled together in the heat …  Boy is that the truth.  In the fall we can layer clothing to create many different stylish looks but when it comes to summer heat staying cool is our main objective.  But, what if we can stay cool and looked great at the same time?  I’m all for that.

Here are a couple ideas you can personally incorporate and share with guests at your summer Stella & Dot trunk shows.  Since it’s way too hot to layer clothes – layer your jewelry, especially necklaces.  It looks great and doesn’t make you so hot!  The trick to pulling this off is - Keep the clothes simple.    By simple I mean solid colors and no extra frills like ruffles, bows, or lace.  The jewelry makes the statement and makes the outfit.  One of my favorite layering combinations is the Tiny Flower Necklace, Gabrielle Citrine Necklace, Tatum Pearl Necklace in gold, and finish it off with the Aimee Locket.  I saw this on a stylist in Atlanta at our last meeting and it was such a great daytime look.  But, I can so see it over a LBD (little black dress) for evening at a candlelit dinner.

Another “Cool” look is to wear large statement earrings like The Bachlorette, Jillian Harris,  and stack on some killer bracelets.  Looks fabulous but doesn’t look like you are trying too hard.  Now you and your guests will look oh so pulled together all summer long!
