Meet Anna Muir – Stella & Dot’s Newest Director!

Anna MuirAnna is only the 9th Stylist to promote to Director in the history of Stella & Dot and that deserves a standing ovation!!!  What’s even more impressive is that she did it in only 4 months and that may be a first!  Her Launch was $5400+, she sold $13,788 her first month and was ranked #2 in the company in sales that month and has been a consistent Top Sponsor.  This month her sales are $4500 and she has sponsored 4 new stylists.  As you can see Anna is not one to rest on her laurels.

She has built a an unbelievable team of amazing women with a tremendous work ethic.  Jennifer Raulet and Ashley Felton both sponsored by Anna promoted to Star Stylist in the last 2 days and are perfect examples of the type of stylists on Anna’s team.  She also has 3 more stylists in her first level who have a great chance to promote to Star Stylist next month.  That could mean a promotion for Anna to Senior Director and that would be a FIRST for Stella & Dot!

At Hoopla in July she is slated to speak in 3 different segments!  It appears she has made quite an impression on the corporate office because they are using only the best of the best to train.  Anna you make me proud to be a Mint Jewelep!

Congratulations to you Anna and to your team because to get this far it’s truly a TEAM effort.

Ashley Felton our Newest Star Stylist!

Ashley Felton

Wooooooo Hooooooooo!

You made it Girl!  Way to go!  Ashley has had a fantastic beginning to her Stella & Dot career.  In April, her first month, she sold $12,095 and was #3 in the whole company in sales and had the second highest show of the month at $5232. In May she sponsored 5 and tied for #2 in the whole company.  Now skip ahead to June her 3rd month and she promotes to Star Stylist!  Maybe we should call her Queen Midas!

Her team didn’t get the memo either about the reduced volume requirements for GVC in June because so far they have $9337 well over the $8000 regular month requirement.

Ashley with a work ethic like yours the sky is the limit.  You make me so proud to be a Mint Jewelep!

Rachael Celenski has a baby!

Rachael Celenski of Orlando, Florida gave birth to Stella on June 28

She weighs in at 8 lbs. 3 ozs.  Yes, you read it correctly – we have a new Stella in the world.  Here’s the story – Rachael just became a stylist in May and Stella’s name had been chosen months before but when the Stella & Dot opportunity was presented by her sponsor Melissa Seltmann she knew she had to do it.  Of course she was limited on time to get her business started before Stella arrived but she didn’t waste any time.  her launch was $1000+ and she has already sponsored 2 stylists.  One of her new stylist’s name is Dot …. well …… not really ….. but wouldn’t that have been icing on the cake?!

Rachael I think you should take at least 6 or 7 days off and then get back to work!  Of course I’m kidding – Stella & Dot will be waiting for you when you are ready and that’s one of my favorite things about this business.  Give Stella a big kiss from all the Mint Jeweleps!

Jennifer Raulet of Atlanta Georgia Promotes to Star Stylist!

Jennifer RauletCongratulations Jennifer!

Jennifer began her Stella & Dot career in March and has had an unconventional journey to Star Stylist.  She lives in Atlanta but is from Virginia.  So, she took a little trip back home to do a few trunk shows and went on a Sponsoring Spree and in an eleven day period sponsored 5 new stylist!

While most of her team is remote she is also sponsoring in Atlanta and adding to her team there.  In fact Missy Ferguson of Atlanta, sponsored by Jennifer, promoted to Senior Stylist earlier this month.  I know Jennifer has her sights set on Director and looks like she has a major jump start already.

As you know the Group Volume requirements for June have been reduced by 20%.  Which means to promote to Star Stylist this month your GVC instead of being $8000 only needed to be $6400.  Apparently Jennifer’s Super Star team didn’t get the memo because their GVC for June is already over $11,000!

Way to go Team Jennifer!  Thank you all for helping make the Mint Jeweleps Stella & Dot’s strongest team!

My Pic Mattye & Lucy

Believe it or not this is actually the BEST picture of me. I know it’s pitiful but I posted this so you all would feel better about yourselves.  Hope it works!  So send me your picture.

While you are here I thought I would tell you a little about me.  I was born in Birmingham, AL at a very early age ….  I have two absolutely wonderful, beautiful, witty, smart, charming (you get the picture) daughters.  Lucy is 13 and will be in 8th grade and co-captain of the cheerleading squad, and Mattye is 23 and working in Indianaplolis at the national headquarters of her sorority Sigma Kappa.

My direct sales career began in 1988 with Premier Designs jewelry.  I was with them for 14 years and left when my wife and I divorced.  She is still with them and in her 22nd year and still going strong.  Direct sales has been a full time income for me and my family for many years and I love it!  My next venture with direct sales was with Purse Party – we sold handbags and jewelry.  I loved it and build a strong team over 3 years and was making good money but unfortunately the company was not and the owners sold it.

I decided to try something new and got my real estate license in July 2008.  Go ahead and laugh … yes it was right as the real estate market was tanking.  After 6 months of selling nothing and making no money only spending it I knew I had to do something.  So I came back to my two best friends, jewelry and direct sales.  I found Stella & Dot through research on the DSA web site.  I’m sure I was just like you when you saw the web site – I immediately knew Stella & Dot was different and I had found my company.  In my first six months with Stella & Dot I’ve accomplished more than I did in my first 19 years in direct sales.  This is month 8 and it keeps getting better all the time.

My wish for you all would be that you get as much fulfilment as I have as a Stella & Dot stylist.  Because if you do – we will be one BIG HAPPY team!  Thanks for taking the time to read my little story …. now send me your picture!

Mint Jeweleps make a strong showing!

Mint JulepI say this all the time and I’ll say it again – I AM SO PROUD TO BE A MINT JEWELEP!  We have built a superior team of outstanding women over the past 4 months and we should all pat ourselves on the back.  In this business one thing I have learned, as a stylist building a team, we attract people like us.  That could not more evident when you look at Stella & Dot’s Top 20 launch parties for the month.  Mint Jeweleps hold 7 spots! So let’s congratulate our newest Super Star Mint Jeweleps.

#4 Margaret Kelly – CT          $4304

#5 Dawn Howe – AL             $4099

#9 Allison Korkmaz  – CA      $3697

#13 Catherine Illges – GA     $3244

#14 Lisa Maxey – GA            $3232

#16 Mary Harmening – FL    $2992

#20 Mary Callaway – AL       $2788

I think we found the formula to a GREAT team.  Outstanding women attracting other outstanding women (like the group above) creates a legacy of greatness.  With the foundation of Super Star Stylist we have now I have no doubt the Mint Jeweleps will be unbeatable!  Oh no ………. here it comes again ……… I can’t help myself ……….  I AM SO PROUD TO BE A MINT JEWELEP!

Stella & Dot is a Trend Setter!

Happy FlowersSometimes I wonder if Stella & Dot has a spy at InStyle Magazine.  In the July issue one of their features is titled Glam Garden on page 132.  In the contents section it reads as follows: “Nothing looks fresher right now than a necklace that makes you bloom.  Go on, pick one.”  Our fabulous chief creative officer Blythe Harris gave us the “Happy Flowers” necklace way back in February so this isn’t news for all us savvy Stella & Dot stylists and our customers.  The feature itself ,in very large letters, says “What’s blossoming for fall?  Flowers – the bigger, the better – on chic pieces that are just brilliant.”  Shown are necklaces from Giorgio Armani, Stephen Dweck, Bottega Veneta, Marni, and Oscar De La Renta.  Many of you have gotten a sneak peek at Stella & Dot’s new “Flower” necklace for  fall when we had the Booking Blitz.  I think we would ALL agree it is Bigger and it is definitely Better!  Hmmmm… you would think these major designers could come up with their own ideas and designs instead of copying us.  I guess it’s true- Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.  So, thanks Oscar and Giorgio, we are truly flattered

By being a fashion trend setter Stella & Dot has given all of us such a huge advantage over our competition.  I have been in Direct Sales for 20 years selling jewelry and have NEVER seen sales like I am seeing with Stella & Dot.  Spring and summer have been amazing but watch out because fall is going to be …….. well ….I don’t the word but it but I know it means more than amazing!!  I love my job!

Great Site to Purchase Jewelry Display Items

Easel back NeckI buy all my jewelry display items from Jewel Box Display & Supply Co. including my carrying case and trays.  I use their easel back stands for necklaces, T-earring displays for earrings, and finger ring displays for rings.  I use white for all my displays as well as white trays and inserts.

I also use the necklace stands from Stella & Dot.  They look fabulous when interspersed with the white display items.  As soon as they become available use some of your business credits and pick up a couple.  The canvas tote bag from Stella & Dot is perfect to carry all your display items and it looks oh so cute.

Melissa Ferguson of Atlanta, GA Promotes to Senior Stylist !

Woooooooo Hooooooooo…   Way to go Melissa!  You are amazing and you are one of the reasons the Mint Jeweleps are the best team in all of Stella & Dot!  Melissa is having an outstanding month.  Not only has she promoted to Senior Stylist but her retails sales for the month so far are $5112!  And listen to this amazing fact – her team has already done enough volume this month to meet the Group Volume requirement for Star Stylist!  All she needs is 2 more active stylist in her first level and I’ll be congratulating her on her next promotion to Star Stylist!  Way to go Team Melissa!
